This was my third trip with Leod Escapes, and they truly are an escape! The whole experience was very well managed. Right from the hotel in Munich, to almost all of the paperwork for the motorcycle rentals being done before we got there (you still have to sign for it!). As a treat, Miss Emma takes the group to the "Museum of Things That Go". The food is all the best, in places the local people go so you know it's good! The motorcycles are some of the best BMW has to offer, and the guides are the best at helping you maximize your skills, and enjoyment on them. All I can say is if you've ever thought about doing an International Motorcycle trip, don't hesitate!!

This is my second tour with Leod Escapes and my wife and I are already making plans for our next. I am not a track rider, so I chose Leod's Dolomites Trippinar (arranged in conjunction with the Motorcycles & Misfits podcast). Leod takes care of the motorcycle rental and lodging, making planning very easy. They take care of all the logistics that you might be unsure about (thanks Nancy!). There is no chase vehicle, so pack light for the motorcycle portion of the trip. Trust me, you will be glad to be unburdened by all that extra stuff. The Dolomites Tour has a base hotel in northern Italy, so you are not constantly packing and unpacking. Leod provides a menu of recommended rides that all start and end at the base hotel. Choose which you want to ride each day... or cut your own path. The trainers, Jason, Emma, and Huub, provide as much or as little input as you like. If you have a skill you want to focus on, they will do just that. If you just want to ride and be left alone, they will do that. We spent most of our time with Huub. He quickly figured out what my wife and I wanted and gave lots of great tips on negotiating tight hairpins while riding two up, and introduced me to throttle steering, which significantly improved my control in those nearly 180° turns. The lodging, both in Munich and Italy was clean and comfortably with just enough elegance. It is also conveniently located to everything we would need. If you ready to venture into European Motorcycle Touring, but are unsure how to start, Leod Escapes will do the hard part for you at an affordable price, and teach you how you can do it on your own. This was our 40th anniversary trip and it was a once in a lifetime experience! The group of riders was a good mix of people and our guides were very professional and accommodating. Emma took us under her wing and guided us to some of the most amazing places and scenery while coaching me through the countryside and expanding my skill set to ride the switchbacks. We are looking forward to doing another trip soon maybe to the Pyrenees and my wife wants her own bike this time!

The riding was amazing. The food was fabulous. Riding Aragon was a dream come true. Unfortunately the leadership of Leod Escapes was extremely unprofessional and made most of the “still” moments uncomfortable. To be honest I am not sure how he stays in business.

Overall, another good trip with LEOD Escapes! Really enjoyed exploring the Black Forest area of Germany, and especially enjoyed riding the Hockenheim Ring, a very technical track and great learning experience! More friends made, and existing relationships strengthened, a good time had by all!
